Begini Contoh Komentar Reviewer Jurnal Elsevier dengan Minor Revision

Diskusi calon paper ketiga : Approved!

Pagi jam 9 seharusnya adalah jadwal saya untuk berdiskusi manuscript paper ketiga. Sehari sebelumnya telah disiapkan daftar gambar dan tabel lengkap dengan legends. [Baca : HAL KECIL KEGIATAN DEPARTEMEN DI JEPANG YANG PERLU DITERAPKAN DI INDONESIA]

Namun ternyata Bos besar dan para kurcacinya sedang berdiskusi hasil mingguan dari mahasiswa bimbingannya. Biasanya dibagi grup, dan pagi ini giliran Grup A yang diketuai oleh mahasiswa doktor dengan anggotanya mahasiswa master dan sarjana.

Yang menjadi masalah adalah melihat muka bos besar seketika masuk ke ruang eksekusi. Ruang khusus bos besar untuk berdiskusi serius terkait kemajuan studinya. Nampaknya, diskusi sebelumnya dengan Grup A membuat dirinya tidak puas sehingga kembali berubah menjadi serigala. [Baca : KETIKA PROFESOR BERUBAH JADI SERIGALA LAYAKNYA GANTENG-GANTENG SERIGALA]

Dimulai dengan basmallah, akhirnya presentasi manuskrip ketiga telah usai. Diskusi yang cukup alot, tetapi pada akhirnya wajahnya berubah menjadi berbinar-binar karena pada akhirnya saya bisa menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan terkait hasil dari calon paper ketiga ini.  Dan akhirnya Bos besar meminta saya untuk mulai menulis paper ketiga.

Paper ketiga adalah penting di lab neraka ini, lab satu-satunya di universitas ini yang memerlukan 3 publikasi internasional untuk lulus meraih gelar doktor. Minimal 2 published, 1 submitted.

Decision Paper Kedua : Minor Revision!

Hasil penilaian reviewer paper pertama sebelumnya adalah Major Revision. Baca : BEGINI KETIKA PUBLIKASI INTERNASIONAL DENGAN SARAN MAJOR REVISION DARI REVIEWER. Alhamdulillah, kali ini di paper kedua hanya minor revision.

Hanya muncul satu komentar yang intinya adalah kesalahan penulisan yang minor.

In this study, **** was used as additive to prepare hydrogel film with ****. The research results showed that the prepared ***** was enhanced in the wound healing ability in the mice experiments. The enhanced effect of ****** on wound dressing properties was also proved to be involved with the increased swelling ratio, porosity, and moisture content of the prepared *****. These results are original, meaningful and of some novelty. The discussion and conclusions are supported by the experimental results. But I think there are some errors and questions in the manuscript as follows. Therefore I recommend the authors should make some revision before it is considered for publication in International Journal of Biological Macromolecules

1: Page5， lines 1-2, It is better to change “Additionally, alginate films, which were ionically crosslinked with calcium chloride (CaCl2)…” to “Additionally, the alginate films ionically crosslinked with calcium chloride (CaCl2)…”
2: Page 5, lines 3-4, It is better to change “However, while organic solvents and crosslinkers are often used, they are potentially hazardous to the body” to “However, often use of organic solvents and crosslinkers are potentially hazardous to the body”.
3: I wonder how the thickness of the ****** was controlled during the fabrication of the ******.
4：Page13, line 3, “in” should be “for”.
5: Page 13, line 10, “the porous structure induced by the ***” should be “the porous structure induced by the ****”? As the discussion in the lines 6-7, Page 13: The porosity of the****-containing **** increased in **** concentration-dependent manner (Fig. 2B and C).
6: Page 13, line 15, 17, Page 22, line 4, “in NIH3T3 cells” should be “to NIH3T3 cells”?
7: Page 14, line 10, “**** was (Fig. 4)” should be “**** (Fig. 4)”.
8: Page 15, line 17, “in” should be “during”.
9: Page 16, line 8, What does it mean by “more than the *** without *** did” ?

Walaupun masih ada tahap re-submit. Tapi bisa disimpulkan bahwa paper kedua saya kemungkinan besar akan segera terbit setelah dilakukan perbaikan.
